A typical year sees 4-8 long term games of Empire. There have been debates in rec.games.empire in the past regarding a supposed decline in the number of games per year. A review of all games that have been known to happen over the last five years shows this decline to be a fiction.

Empire games are almost always of some thematic nature. For example, the current "Ice World" series of games features special ice sectors, with special ice adapted units.

As these games are announced, we will post information regarding them here. Also, "newbie" games, designed for new and/or inexperienced Empire players, will have information posted about them here as well.
