The Empire Academy was a project intended in part as a replacement for the User's Guide to Empire, published by Geoff Cashman in 1991. The scope of the project was far more encompassing than that publication however. The academy was to feature articles of interest for all skill levels of players.

The project was started in 2003, but sadly ran out of steam before it could produce usable results.
