Updated for Alpha 2:

Place this WSEMPIRE.EXE in the directory where you already have
WS Empire 1.02. This does everything 1.02 does, plus extras.
This alpha release is not intended to represent the final way
the map commands will work. To "get into" the map stuff:

New Features of Alpha 1: (ie The graphic map)
- maximize the program and its views.
- connect to a blitz game as a REAL country.
- "break" sanctuary, get your country going.
- set up a realm that encloses all the map area you can see.
	ie realm 2 -15:15,-15:15
- send: map #2 | map (map of realm 2 piped to map)
- send: sect #2 | sect (sect of realm 2 piped to sect)
- send: cen #2 | cen (you get the idea)
- Now use the "File"/"Add Map View" menu command.
- use the scroll bar to center your graphic map.
- click the eraser-looking toolbar button to de-select the
	highlight marks on the map.
- use the toolbar button that looks like a small window with
an arrow inside to go between the connection and map.
- click in a hex to get summary sector info.

New features of Alpha 2: (ie The database additions)
- Program looks at ...WINDOWS\WSEMPIRE.INI to see if you have a [Sounds]
section. If so, if looks for lines: Logon, Logoff, OnFlashMsg, OnInformMsg
and Default. Example: Logoff=C:/wav/explode.wav, which plays an explosion
sound when connection to server is closed. The On..Msg items are for
the new server, to alert you asynchronously to messages.
- dump * | dump (now loads most of this info into internal database)
- ship * | ship (Have object databases too...)
- plane * | plane
- land * | land
- Use left-mouse-click on map hex to get a "tabbed" dialog box of
just about everything you might want to know about a sector. This
is only as current as the last "dump * | dump" you did.
- Use right-mouse-click on map hex to start a modeless dialog box
of basics on each sector. You can then click from sector to sector
to get the box to update (ie: dont have to close the box each time)
- In the right-click box, you can click on some special bitmap buttons
that will highlight sectors with certain attributes. You can then
use the "eraser" toolbar icon to clear the highlights.
  - things you can highlight:
	sectors with Distribution set
	sectors with Military
sectors with Ships, Land units, or Planes
(these highlight letters that appear on the map will
	 be replaced by bitmaps soon.)
	(nukes not parsed yet)
- Remember you can do this: sect #1 ?des=a&food>100 | sect
	- then switch back to the map view to see these sectors
	highlighted on the map.
- The Options menu on the client view has a Debug choice. Use this
to get a list of all your ships, planes, and land units. This is
intended to be put into some special dialog boxes eventually.

- Send me email as to how this is working for you! Only one person
has said that alpha 1 even works.

Enjoy!
